Our Team

Rod Collins, Owner/Program Director

Coach Collins is from of Pilot Mound, MB Canada where he grew up fine tuning his hockey skills. He is currently the Head Coach for the Pilot Mound Buffalos. Prior to that he was the Head Coach of the Bellingham Junior Blazers U16. He was also the GM of the Wenatchee Wild in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and the Head Coach of the Wenatchee Wild U18 Hockey Program. He had been a head coach of boys hockey at Shattuck St. Mary’s for 10 years and was with the Notre Dame Hounds hockey program from 1989 to 1997. He has coached the game of hockey for 30 years. He has also coached in the Manitoba (MJHL), Saskatchewan (SJHL) and BC (BCHL) Junior Leagues.

Coach Collins has Level Five Certification through USA Hockey and Advanced Level with Hockey Canada. Rod has a B.A. degree in Education from Brandon University.

Mark Collins, Hockey Director

Coach Mark is also from Pilot Mound, MB. He played hockey there until moving to Wilcox, SK in 1989 to play for the Notre Dame Hounds. He went on to play college at North Dakota State University where he led his team to two second place finishes in National Championships. He was voted to the All-Tournament Team and All Region Team in 1995 and was an All American Finalist. He was a National Champion with the Seattle Indians Senior AAA in 2001 and 2003. He is going in to his fifth season as Head Coach of the Bellingham Blazers Junior A Team. In his first two seasons the Blazers won the Cascade Cup as league champions and the right to represent the league at the 2013 and 2014 USA Hockey Junior National Championships. Collins was also voted as Coach of the Year in 2013 for the NPHL.

Coach Mark has Level 5 Certification through USA Hockey and Advanced Level with Hockey Canada.

Alana Collins, Instructor/Strength Coordinator

Coach Alana has been training hockey players and athletes for the past 4 years. She is a Dartmouth College alumni, where she played hockey for 4 years, played with Team USA U-22 team and was a finalist for Team USA in 2006. She brings a fully functional training protocol to help develop all aspects of athleticism. She was nominated for the ECAC All Decade Girls Collegiate Team in 2010.

Alana is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Instructor, Strength Coordinator, and has Level 4 Certification with USA Hockey. She has a Environmental Science Degree from Dartmouth College.

Delaney Collins, Instructor

Coach Delaney was a member of Team Canada Women’s Hockey Team. She was a member of Team Canada U-22 in 1998 and has played on the World Championship Team in 2000, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and was a tournament All-Star in 2007. She was the 2007 Manitoba Female Athlete of the Year. She was an Assistant Coach at Mercyhurst University from 2011-2016. Delaney coached the National Women's Development Team for the 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 seasons as well as the Under 18 National Women's Hockey Team for the 2014-2015 and 2016-2017 seasons. Delaney is currently a coach at the Okanogan Hockey Academy in Penticton, BC.

Jeff Weeks, Goalie Instructor

Coach Jeff was a member of the CEH team last year as a part time instructor. Jeff played his minor hockey in British Columbia and went on to play Junior Hockey in BC as well.
